  • One of the greatest new age ambient albums in the world along with Michael Hoenig's "Departure From The Northern Wasteland".

  • This is the only album that has ever and still does take me on a journey that we all yearn for..Love and peace..

It may sound like a complete hippy statement but it's not meant to be..

I really do not think anyother music as such can define so many lovely images of dreams..

  • Played it til the grooves wore out...then bought the cd!!! My kids still listen to it now to go to sleep!

    Brilliant.

  • @MrMcrRed My dad used to play this for me and my brother to help us sleep. You are a good parent hahahaha!

  • bloody great album

  • Miquette I love you xx

  • Do you have any stuff from his colaboration with Egg?

  • Sorry, I don´t have it:(

  • I checked both of my Egg CD's, and Steve's name is not listed in the credits on either 'Egg' or 'The Polit Force'. Perhaps you were looking for Arzachel? I'm pretty sure there are some clips of them on Youtube. You might check out some of the early National Health songs too, which both Steve and Bill Bruford played on, if you haven't heard them already.

  • @Delisle4 Since this comment was posted a while ago, were you able to find any of the stuff by Arzachel on youtube? That's the band they had together.

  • @dharmaseed

Hi there, thanks for asking. I have found little with Steve Hillage with Egg or Arzachel. Have you found anything??

  • @Delisle4 Yeah, there's a couple of links here on Youtube by Arzachel, the band that Steve was in with Dave Stewart, Mont Campbell and Clive Brooks. Steve was also in an early incarnation of National Health, but there's not a lot of chance of finding THAT. Steve was not in Egg, however. He was in Uriel and left to go to university. There might be a release out under the Uriel moniker, however. Good luck!

  • @dharmaseed

    Thanks for all the info!

  • @Delisle4 Were you able to find this yet?

  • @dharmaseed

Thanks for checking in with me. I have not been looking lately because life has become hectic but thanks for the reminder and I will let you know what transpires. Thanks D4

  • @Delisle4 The work Stevie did with Egg was called 'Arzachel/Uriel'. There's a couple of Arzachel's track on Youtube, in case you want to check them out. Cheers

  • @dharmaseed

Thanks so much for imparting this information. I will definitely check out these tracks.

    Namaste

  • great musical atmosphere...what a trip into the forests of sound

  • My mentor and guru Steve zero the hero Hillage!!

  • Either this or Green is my favorite Hillage album. There's something about this and the other track, their both really mellow and perfect for potheads like me.

  • Radio Dome Musick was so much better than the 1978 releases from Steve. I also like some of the System 7 stuff. This is very nice!
