  • i think you need to swap left and right image so this would be 3d!

  • fuck fuck fuck.. it works but now i cant effectively focus my eyes i feel like my eyes are retarded.

  • This is a parallel view stereo image, NOT "cross-eyed"! Parallel viewing is much more natural as it's done by RELAXING the eyes to look beyond the surface of the screen...like looking THROUGH a window (not at the glass). Crossing the eyes to view a parallel stereo image creates what's called "pseudo-stereo" (near objects are far away and close objects are in the back). Crossing the eyes is un-natural and painful. The right eye should see the right image and the left eye should see the left one.

  • Crossing the eyes isn't un-natural, I'm confused how you came to that conclusion. Yeah its painful if you do it like 5 minutes at a time, but that's because your eye muscles aren't very strong to begin with.

Besides, the eye crossing technique comes a lot more easier to most people than parallel.

  • In the last part you have changed the cameras. It's better the other way round ...

  • Don't cross your eyes, it will be inverted. The easiest way to "see" it correctly is to put your nose against the screen -- but don't try to focus! Slowly pull your head back away from the screen, but try to keep the two images fused as you do so. The water flowing down the steps is the best one to watch.

  • No it wont :O i can see it perfectly fine, and i allways cross my eyes.

  • Damn it, my eyes! I'd better use the "Stereoscopic Scope" better than crossing my own fucking eyes!

  • I vote parallel too. You can put a piece of paper between them (at the dividing point, straight out from the screen to your nose) if you are having trouble.

The black thing on the table towards the end is too close., but other than that...looks like everything works.

  • It's flipped the wrong way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grr, my eyes don't move away from each other.

  • the first was very easy..the last imposibal for me

  • I'd say this is done the wrong way! Flip the positions. To get this right I'd have to look straight forward with both eyes. It's much easier to cross them, as in inverting the 3D effect...

  • nice! dont know why there isnt more stars. idiots cant cross eye view.

  • I like parallel viewing better - it's easier to see.

  • Very nice vid, but why not make it for cross-eyed viewing instead of parallel viewing? Cross-eyed stereo is so much easier to see.

    In any case, good job!

  • this is for crossing eyes .-- third part (of man siting on chair) is awesome, where i can see that he is sitting here, and that things (repros etc) are so far behind hi m.. realy great vid ..

  • awesome ! put up more :D

parallel eye viewing is easy - the 2nd vid is great ... the third video the cameras are too far apart I think.

  • I've been experimenting with this a little using video game images. I found the easiest way to get it to look right without overly straining your eyes is to take a piece of cardboard or paper, cut a roughly 1x1.5 inch rectangular hole in the center and hold it in front of your face and look through the hole at the image.

  • You may need to adjust the distance you hold it and it's best when used on slightly larger images such as viewing this video in full screen with the black borders all around the image to avoid distracting your eyes. At first it will be very blurry as your brain is telling you that you're looking at something close up but eventually your eyes will adjust and it will look right.

  • I can see it but DAMN my eyes are killing me

  • Well, this one works in paralell viewing, but as someone said, it's pretty hard to see videos this big with it, though not impossible.

I think it looks great :) but you should make it also crosseyed ^^

  • right-side-left!

  • hmm, the images are on the wrong sides

swap them over and they will work

  • I meant the THIRD one works if your eyes are the other way

  • The first two work crossed eyed. The second one only works if each eye focuses on the image directly in front of it (meaning get really close to the screen...maybe put something in between your eyes to block the other image to help you focus.) The one on the bridge was pretty cool.

  • It's not a problem that you posted a video in 'normal' stereo, folks can see it either way, but 'crosseyed' can viewed at any size while 'normal' has to be pretty small on the screen. My stereo videos are 640x480 or 1280x480, if you 'shrank' them enough to see 'normal' you'd miss the hi-res definition.

  • Switch the left and right and anyone can see it in 3d.

  • Very Very Great, made a tutorial, you use two cameras? How you edit?

  • Kikhaky, You've got your stereo pairs mixed up. This is a "normal" stereo film, not cross eyed.

  • thank you i realized this about a few weeks after putting this video up. I have been experimenting with anaglyph images. creating believable 3d images is tough my friend.
