Thanks for reinforcing my point with other examples. Democracy is a mob of the majority that can steal from others or even kill off the minority in an extreme world. A republic protects everybody's inherit rights through charter law. That's protection from the majority and government bodies or persons that overstep the boundaries. A republic protects a minority of one as long as that person doesn't harm or do wrong to others. Democracy is a terrible form of government and the founders knew that.
They established a representative republic. What we have today is not a representative republic. It's not even a true representative democracy as you state. Most of these so called representatives aren't representing their true constituents, the people, but their central banking masters and special interests.
Cats are the only animals that kill for fun..... Well besides the retards in the military. It seems you adjusting to the slower pace in Grafton just fine.
Cats in the wild, interestingly enough, won't kill for fun. Many of them will even cache what they don't eat of their kill for later, so as to save food. However, when animals have a master, when they lose their freedom, they will often kill just for fun, rather than for sustenance.
i'm a military non-interventionist, but you probably aren't aware that the average education level of military members is higher than the general population. i know plenty of people in the army, none have killed for fun.
I think it's critical that education is defined explicitly. Sitting in a class regurgitating words onto paper then receiving another piece of paper is not my idea of education. Just saying :)
You mentioned education. How does it not have anything to do with it? Why be so smarmy about it? What was your comment about? People killing for fun? Well let's talk about that then. Personally, I think killing a human being for any reason doesn't align with peace. Me being a nihilist I don't argue the right or wrong of it. I just know I wouldn't appreciate being killed so I would not kill another.
someone says that people in the military are "retards" and have no education, and they like to kill people. my response was in regards to that. did i lay off the smarmy?
That was great Dave, especially the music of triumph @ the end...then the drop.
Could you do a scenic NH video in between reports? It's obviously beautiful up there & as a future Free Stater, I'd love to see more if you've got the time.

You should move to America then. We have a democratic republic.

Democracy and republic are oxymorons. Can you find democracy anywhere in the bill of rights and constitution? Thanks.
nocturnalc 2 years ago
Uh, no, an oxymoron is something that is inherently contradictory, like "cruel kindness" or "deafening silence."
You should learn English someday.

No, American has a representative democracy, as opposed to a direct democracy. This is exactly what the founders established.

Just because the elected leaders aren't the ones you voted for doesn't mean they're not representative of the people.
It must suck being in the minority, huh?

And that's why congress ratings have been hovering at all time lows? And Obama is quickly heading towards Bush Jr. ratings territory?

Nope, look again.

Domesticated dogs will kill for fun, as well.

They don't kill for fun. They play and practice their hunting skills. Unfortunately they play too rough.
