That was Jeremy's wife's Z1. Funny thing is that out of the pair of them, it's the wife who has great taste in cars. She has had a few Caterhams and a Lotus or two as well. Jeremy's automotive taste is absolutely sh*te, and he's very fickle. He used to laud BMs and now he hates them. At some point he had a run in with Porsche UK and now he 'hates' Porsches. Then he was into Jags for 10 minutes. Now it's big, auto only V8 Mercs. He's entertaining and a great writer but he knows f*ck all.

And as for the wind issues over 30 mph - putting any of your extremities outside the car at that speed would be very dangerous. i drove this car today, and i can say its a total mess, first thing is to open the doors, it asks a procedure with 3 steps and if you dont do it fast anough. the alarm goes on... 2nd is to get in when the roof is closed.... i am only 1:83 M and ijus tcouldt get in on a normal way, 3rd.. it just drives like a old steamengine powered car..

Indeed, but with the BMW, the seat is very low and the sill is very high, so if you go in bum-first, your legs will end up at quite a steep angle, which would still do nothing other than satisfy a pervert.
