@bennemann in battlefield 3 the sound is adjusted by the game engine based on where you are shooting. Like if you are shooting while standing on a big open field, there will be echo. And if u fire in a small room, it wont echo.. While Mw3 dont have that system so it sounds the same all the time

@bennemann the reason BF sounds echoed is because unlike cod, battlefield actually has dynamic gun sounds so if you are in a large open area, it is echoed but if you are indoors it is different.

Silenced weapons on battlefield also use correct ammo so the rounds silenced weapons use don't break the sound barrier so don't sound like they're echoing. COD is essentially an arcade shooter, battlefield is more realistic nowadays.
