Goddd... wish i had a v6, i got the 3rz 2.7 liter, im about to put a header on mine and its already got a v-force muffler but ima take off the cat and put 3 inch stainless steels on it, it already has dual pipes with 2 inch chrome tips on it

hey bro on those injectors does that kill your gas milleage? and does the supercharger help i got a 98 v6 5 speed sr5 and i get like 20 ifim lucky in the city...

Alright so the injectors are capable of pumping much more fuel, and with the Walbro pump they do. But so far I haven't noticed too much change in gas mileage. I got the fuel injectors and fuel pump to compensate for the amount of air the supercharger rams into the engine. Without the injectors, at full throttle the engine runs very lean and doesn't perform. The supercharger is a cool upgrade, but it depends on what you like to do with your truck. I am getting it tuned. I will see the mpg then.

I have gotten as much as 27 mpg, back when this video was taken I could get 30 mpg. But now with the TRD Supercharger, 318cc injectors and 190 LPH fuel pump I can get about 25-27 mpg. (but I have gotten as low as 13 mpg)

put a resonator on it to smooth it out and that would be really nice... THink it sounds stupid? Just try it and it will knock out all that raspy crap and keep the nice smooth deep tone going... I've had people think mines a Tundra because it sounds like a V8... I have Downey Headers, 3 inch off road cat back to a 3 inch inlet/outlet 18" resonator into 3" inlet magnaflow muffler with dual 2 and a quarter outlets with stainless 18" long 3" out echo chambers... On my 2000 V6 Tacoma...

You have to remember that the magnaflow mufflers sound better and actually give you performance. Unlike flowbastered's, I had them on my race car and threw them away.

i bought a gibson 2.5" cat-back exhaust system, and removed the shitty gibson muffler and replaced it with a flowmaster super 40 series. I had to lengthen one of the pipes but it worked out. I now have a different muffler on the truck, a flowmaster super 44 series that i think sounds better

mainly, the exhaust sound is from the JBA headers and the flowmaster muffler (Super 40 series). The tubes are gibson 2.5". That's about it.

not bad for the 3.4l I too have done the gibson/flowmaster setup on other vehicles, I am assuming you replaced the gibson muffler with the flowmaster and used gibsons pipes. My 4.0 has a single in dual out delta 40 and sounds pretty good you should check it out.... best enjoyed with headphones on

the tbs itself was not an incredible upgrade, I only slightly noticed a gain in performance but if you are planning to put more than just the tbs like an intake or headers, then I would definitely recommend the tbs because it will help to optimize the other parts. hope this was of some help to your dilemma.
