p.s. Utah schedules just fine. Don't forget that Utah has more wins against AQ teams than any other mid-major. It's not enough just to get them on the schedule, you have to beat them too; otherwise you are no different than teams like Utah State.

Northern Iowa is the in the big 12 so you could say they beat a big 12 team, just not Oklahoma or Nebraska. Sure they are AQ teams..but when was the last time Iowa State went to a big bowl??? Northern Iowa is not in the Big 12; they are in the Missouri Valley Conference. They are an FCS school. Utah has never played them. BYU did in 2008 though.

Also, I find it funny that you would bring up the last time Pitt was in a big bowl. I think we all remember what happened....
