@Mer1002 it isn't filmed. it's stop motion. that's where you take a billion pictures and in each picture, you move everything just a LITTLE bit and when you put it all together, it looks animated. It's a very intricate form of art and when it's done correctly (like here) it's amazing

@ContainsInnocence Nice explanation. I just wanted to add for anybody that takes things literally that it's not actually a BILLION pictures. Old school film was 16 images per second and people's brains were tricked into seeing that as fluid motion. This stop motion has fewer images per second to make it look quirky and cute - I'm estimating that it's under 10 images per second, so the commercial doesn't even have a thousand pictures. It is a really beautiful piece of work :)

The real elegance in this is its slight imperfections, or at least as i see it. The sort of stuttery look to it gives it a dreamlike quality, as does the cloth as used in the flashlight sequence, which complements the song perfectly. It's really an amazing thing, real visual poetry. First time i've ever said this, but this commercial gets eight thumbs up.
