I'm not trying to be rude, I can't hear your voice very well from all the distraction from the loud noise in the background drowning out your voice almost completely. It's so loud I can't tolerate trying to hear you through the entire video. It's hard to hear you with what sounds like the TV/music playing, a baby crying, kids screaming or talking loud, etc. Sounds like total chaos. :D
I'm glad I found this video when I did. My moms used to make her yams the way you do. She passed, so, I never got the chance to learned how to make yams (OR ANYTHING) the way she used to make them.
