@ paygrocks 4 years on they will be prostitutes, in jail or locked for life in psych wards, thanks to the STEREOTYPES that shit like this perpetuates. They talk real nice at first pointing out that "how do you LOOK like you are in foster care?" And then TOTALLY contradict by saying that "a lot of these kids are emotionally damaged, I'm not sure there is a whole lot of help". (Jerks.) Anybody can change WHEN THEY ARE ALLOWED TO, and too many of us ARE NOT ALLOWED.

@InvisibleRefugee2 Listen, you motherfucker, I grew up in Foster care...I was in a group home due to my own behaviour...I was angry, and acted it out...but I never was in trouble for anything worse than assault, and running away from homes...now, I am 25, and I work and I am not doing the best, but I am doing alot better than most people in this economy who came from my background...I don't advertise it, but that's the way it is...i want no sympathy, just not judgement.

@InvisibleRefugee2 I understand what your saying, but just as much as other people are perpetuating this so are you by having that view. Over these months since you've written the comment I hope you have a different perspective. I get that with labels alot of people live up to them, but as individuals we have a mind of our own and don't need to live by a social status or stereotype. And yes, stereotypes will always be there, but we ALL face them and yet we are uniquely different.
