People have been trying to design the perfect utopian society for .....well sense forever. Not once has a ruler at anytime in the history of human governance been able to establish this utopian paradise due to the fact that us human we are competitors in all walks of life should it be business or attracting a mate. Get over it folks it will never happen because the ones who put this into action will become drunk with power and it will turn into a dictatorship. just look at your history books.
Who said it was a utopia? I believe that parents could be taught to raise their children in a better way. Parents have negative effects on their children aswell as positive effects. My mother would completly agree with me. She has a Degrre in psychology and is a BACCP(or whatever it is)credited counseller. She was the one that told me that, not Jacque Fresco. If it were possible to choose my own mother i would of picked the same person. You want your kids to be just like you. Thats brilliant!

Propaganda through the television and radio which is the number one way to manipulate people into thinking a certain way. 2. Education - we aren't given the best education so we become stupid 3. Money. Analyze any problem you have or had and it would probably stem from those above. I feel the VP has good solutions for that.

Great idea, but it could only happen on a colony planet. The amount of change needed to clear the way for this here would likely cause this concept to be forgotten entirely.

I don't wish for the monetary system to necessarily "collapse"... I haven't been convinced that a trading tool (the dollar) would "not be needed" in their economy... how would one city have commerce long distance with another?

This video doesn't tell me what the Venus Project is, it only tells me what you hope to accomplish and why. The goals are commendable, and the reasons valid, but how does the Venus Project propose we get there? @alazina To get from here to a Venus Project society, sadly it might be painful. The powers that be won't allow it. The monetary system will have to fail completely. It's only a matter of time before that happens. The system isn't sustainable on every level. Hopefully by then a large part of the population will be aware of the Venus Project direction. Only when the massess of people are educated about the direction of the TVP we can move forward. So do your part and pass it on to others.
