Stingrays are damn dangerous! You would have to have half a brain to think otherwise. Like many wild animals they have a defence mechanism, who would think a Platypus can cause extreme pain? Yes they do, the female has "spurs" in her hind legs which inject you with venom! I loved mr Irwin, my family visited his zoo on the sunshine coast, he was the friendliest guy on the planet.
