I noticed one thing when I was fighting Bowser. When the camera goes far away from Mario, his voice gets little higher (the difference is small but noticeable). Here Mario travels very far from camera which makes his voice so high pitched.

Yes, it works only for the N64 (not for the DS), and no, it won't harm your N64 or your game in any way.

he wasnt asking if it only works for n64, he was asking IF it worked on n64? mainly because this is tool assisted and emulated on PC, anyways it is possible but really hard without tool assitance, and it will in NO way harm your N64
