@Sheldonator90 A cover is the most flattering thing a band can receive.. They can get multi-platinums, get ranked best rock band in decades and all sorts.. But nothing means more to a band than to have songs that came from their heart loved by other bands enough to be played live or recorded. Music is meant for sharing and expressing how you feel and to use somebody else's song shows how much impact that song has against you. It isn't blasphemy or anything. It is flattery.
