if youre using Fruity loops

go to channels, add one, fpc,

once ur fpc is up, make sure u delete the presets

adjust ur cut to 99 x 99

then drag and drop your sounds onto whatever pad u want it to be one. good luck!

Do you have to buy Recycle for reason 4.0 to be able to sample off of old records. Also how could you sample from cd. Do you have to sample from itunes or something.

you need recycle to chop your samples.

you can sample from your cds by simply ripping them in the .wav or .aiff format.

you can sample mp3s by converting them also in wav or aiff.

you can use SUPER converter...it's freeware and does its duty.
