@CRES1R Simone, ese. I'm black and I'm down for la raza as well as my own community. I go to mexican bars, i never feel unwelcome. And the food is great, mexican soul food. I go to white bars in Seattle and i can tell the crackers wish me six feet under. I'm with you hork111, I'm black and I use to live in Pomona, Ca with a Mexican family. They treated me like a king and taught me all about Tecate and carne asada. If I had a kid today I would insist he/she learn Spanish. The chef Anthony Bourdain advises any aspiring chef to learn Spanish.
