The UK has a truly bizarre mix of metric and imperial. They sort of said "Right - we're going metric" but then sort of couldn't be bothered to do it properly.

Here in the UK (in a supermarket) you buy milk by the pint, but Coke by the litre, meat by the kilo but sugar by the pound. Weights of large items (such as cars) are always in Kilos, but if you ask someone their weight you'll get it in stone. Fuel is sold by the litre but your car's fuel economy is quoted as 'miles per gallon'.

The easiest a Lamborghini Murcielago has ever been driven. Well that's not true, I've seen tons of people here in Newport Beach driving their Ferrari and Lambo this slow. But why buy a car like that if your not gonna use it? Do you buy it just to know you do have the power if you want it?
