Although I wouldn't let my little boy pull my cat into the bath like that (for exactly the reasons you see here, cat doesn't like it and the little boy gets scratched) I think that sometimes you can let things happen because a lesson is learned. The cat isn't go to go near the bath again and the little boy is probably unlikely to want to repeat that experience either.
