  • @ WilliamWaddy I run an 85 Toyota standard cab (pretty short wheelbase) and I crawl it easily no spotter. Like you said tire pressure isn't the issue its more vehicle feel and experience. It is a "holy crap" little climb but its not as technical as people make it seem.....throttle control

  • Short wheel base= hey look sky oh crap look dirt ceiling!

  • I know this obstacle very well. Air pressure is not the problem. I crawl it (i.e., no wheel spin) with 12-18 psi in my 37" KM2's. The key is to be long wheel base (4 door JK is perfect) and lock front and rear. Best line is go a little high on the right side. This usually lifts the left front in the air, but lets you crawl the climb. It is a "holy crap" obstacle, especially when you are facing it trying to decide whether or not to go for it. Short wheel base vehicles need not apply.

  • Lockers?

  • @RickyVenegas It is a rubicon I hope so lol

  • Haha

    "Ease it over"

    CLUNK

    "Nice ease"

I love your jeep. Mind if I come steal it?

  • @taypuc31 Thanks, that was a loud clunk, that last little bit was a 3 foot vertical drop, you can see the tires are locked and not moving...the jeep just kept going, one of the scariest obstacles I have taken...I was nervous and a little scared and it showed!

  • you got lucky with that, you have got to start airing down your tires

  • @ctm9191 Yep, got a little lucky, I was surprised to go over, I was running at 12 PSI at the time, tires were new, now I run them at 8PSI, haven't yet lost the bead, need to get beadlocks and taller tires (40-42) to go any lower. Currently I am out of cash to get the larger tires and PSC Ram assist.

  • @crawlerutah ur jeep is so sexy...with the cost of the car and add-ons/modifications, how much is it costing you per month?

  • @Dodgeoffroadfreak I have spent way to much, just been paying as I go...it is a lot of fun, but can become a bit of an addiction, once you start making some significant changes, then really take the Jeep offroad and take on some challenging terrain....it leads to more mods and changes...never quite done!

  • Holy crap that was amazing. Mad props to you

  • man, i thought this was going to be a ROLLOVER, i was about to be severely disappointed if you wrecked this jeep. Jk by the way right? not tj. I wish i could afford to have a rig like that man, nice job.

  • @blueshoes2208 Thanks for the comment! this is the same hill that rolled a TJ unlimited in the 2010 crawlfest near ST. George Utah, you can usually pull up the rollover by searching 2010 crawlfest tj Rollover, Thanks!

  • Wow I could never try that two front wheels up in the air.... Damn thought you going to flip backwards. Nice going all around... What kind of tires do you have and size? Suspension lift size 4" or more?

  • @robbieurschel9 Thanks! Its good to be lucky, 4" skyjacker lift-it rides nice on the road, I will be changing it out for a long-arm off road evolution setup in the near future to get more flex. Running Toyo MT, 37x13.5, 17 inch wheels.

  • Nice!
