@stickdog100 No, only on special occasions for nostalgic train rides. Steam locomotives have phased out here in 1980.

As good as i know, jne engine of this class was presented to J.Stalin and worked in USSR. It was scrapped in 1962.

Is it 3-cylnder compound ?

why don't other train lines paint their locomotives bright,eyecatching colors like this?

Because it takes lot of manual labor to keep them clean. Soot and coal dust isn't so visible on black surfaces.
