i have been a big fan of the sleepy hollow story since i was a kid.this movie did the story total justice.johnny depp is such a great actor and tim burton was at his creepy best.the settings and sights were so errie.loved the special effects, especially the beheadings .it was cool that the legend christopher lee had a small but good part in the start of the film.

@JessziiMK The movie is not really that scary...it is however quite gory. It's got MANY decapitations (probably the most I have ever seen in a movie) and several other scenes full of blood and gore. I liked the movie but if you're squeamish you should probably give it a miss. More of an action movie set in a haunted setting than a horror movie.

Good movie but too campy, strays too far from the original story, and the filler plot that was used to make this long enough to be a movie actually made it too long. Wouldve been great if burton maintained some artistic integrity and made it a tv special instead of trying for a block buster.

this is based on a book btw just incase any of u's were wondering it's called sleepy hollow surprisingly enough. the book also holds a major part in the trilogy of books by jesdica verday called the hollow series they are pretty good! x

I remember watching this at the drive-in with my parents when I was 5. Had nightmares EVERY NIGHT since that day! It's a great movie though. Tim Burton is one of my favourite auteurs! :)
