  • I just ordered a c1 and after hearing this i cant wait to get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yea man the c1's are Great just watch how you use it with the phantom power be sure the phantom power on the mixer is off befor disconnecting and connecting the mic other wise you will blow the cardoids etc.

  • C1 mics are very reliable and Great just watch recording guitars acoustically they do tend to pick up alot of bass recommend a pop filter and lowering the reverb in the mastering procedure i have a setup too!

  • HOW DO YOU SET UP the C1 ????

  • What do you mean.....?

  • lovely music , and nice mixing ,

    i just have a quick question .

can you record stereo track by PreSonus AudioBox with one mic .

I just bought tascam us-144 today , and i have tried to recording stereo track by one mic but it is difficult . i have condenser mic audio technica 2035 +i used adobe audition and sound forg 8 .

i am going to return tascam us-144 , and maybe buy different audio interface which allow me to recored stereo track by on mic .

  • Hey,

The Presonus Audiobox has two mono inputs. Does your mic have a stereo jack plug? It is easy to split this into 2 mono jacks!

  • if you'd like, you can send me a private message with your email, and i can mail you some of my tunes, so you can see what I do with my set up. only if you want though. thanks for answering my pesky questions.

  • while recording is the only thing I worry about, because I'm not making the audiobox my fulltime card, just using it to track, so that helps knowing you didn't have issues. your setup is a bit similar to mine. I use sonar producer edition though, and all my instumentation comes from reason 4, which outputs at 24 bit, 44.1 k, so I needed to track vocals at least at 24 bit.

  • cool. And you never had any issues with audio drop out, or latency with this set up? I run xp pro myself, but I've heard horror stories about the audiobox in windows. You actually made me feel a bit better about the whole purchase.

  • I first had a lot of drop-outs, but after I updated cubase, it was a lot less Now I only have it with major edits, but not while recording!

  • I know you used cubase, thats the DAW, I meant your system, is it Mac, or PC, and if it's pc, what OS do you use, XP or Vista?

  • I have a Fujitsu Siemens Xa 2528 (2gb ram, Nvidea 8600M Gs, 2 harddrives 160 and 320, AMD turion 64 X2) with Windows Vista 32-bits SP1 ;)

  • I just bought the audiobox. what system do you use it on? because it sounds crystal clear on your set up. any tips would be helpful. great music guys!

  • Hey, What do you mean with System? For this recording I used Cubase LE 4 with the Asio Driver. There are updates on the Presonus website, you should check it out!
