First of all, i've unfortunately heard a lot of metalcore, and im just not seeing it.

1. Thrash is structured like thrash, metalcore like metalcore, this shows traits of thrash and not metalcore was my point.

2. Teutonic thrash is northern european thrash, Kreator, Sodom etc.

Which use raspy vocals opposed to "cleaner" vocals used in bay-area and east-coast thrash.

This band being from norway is obviously going to have been influenced by teutonic and gothenburg styles.

Anyone who plays instruments knows its somewhat lazy to write and play music in only one or two key signatures. For example, to play an improvised solo for 5 songs could require learning to play 5 different arpeggios and scales (not if its slayer style dischord type stuff). This would not be the case if all 5 songs were in the same key, which would require learning only one scale.
