Think the tape is going normal speed, but its the extremely narrow roads (compared to WIDE racetracks we are used to) that makes it seems so fast!

And hell, it is fast but again the narrow roads add an extra speed-feeling!

The tape is going normal speed man, hill climbs are insanely fast, the cars are designed for 0-120mph max (average) so the gearing is so low they can get to 100 as fast as F1 cars :)
