The trick with sweeps (I'll bet you already know this, but if you don't...) is to keep them measured and steady. Too many players try to whip off a really fast sweep, and they sacrifice accuracy. Even a methodic sweep is gonna be WAY fast. Make sure each note is played cleanly. On most sweeps, I start the sweep with an upstroke which allows me to be moving in the right direction for the remainder of the sweep. I'll upstroke the final note if necessary. Do it backwards and it's much harder.
