is wonderful that her voice was so amazing here. because Ottilie Patterson was, primarily, a blues singer. is good to see that true traditional music and musicians span the oceans, and span the waves of time
As an ex-Inniskilling Dragoon Guards soldier with over 22 years service, it is lovely to hear the original song sung and not the other version (though that is also nice). I would love to have seen some "Skins" protrayed in the video pictures, never the less well done for keeping the memories
@66GoodBye The name of the regiment was spelt Inniskillen. There are other anomalies such as the Welch Regiment which you would expect to be spelt Welsh.
served in the royal dragoon guards, offspring of the skins.. and love it, miss the regiment, any one who has served will kno wot iam talking about, how time fly's !!
My father was an Enniskilling dragoon for 27 years, I was one also for 6.5 years. This is the song that was used at his funeral. Fully of Dragoons.....'Fare thee Well'
Who is Rose... what are we looking at? I am an American with no Irish heritage but do like hearing Ire ballads and I would like to visit the Ire-land one day.
