my xbox360 elite is about 3 years old and its has been doing something a little weird just a few hours ago when i went to play the orange box the loading screen to the main menu suddenly darkend in color then went back to normal is this something bad or is it just expected from its age and i have never ever even dared to turn it on while it was vertical it has always been played laying flat but other than that it hasent been acting up in any other unfamiliar way

@edgar12245 Three rings of death is when your Xbox over heats and the GPU becomes loose due to the heatsinks, though It can be caused by the power cable if your xbox short circuits and takes in too much voltage, either way, 1 out of 4 Xbox's are going to fail. So the real question is if your going to buy a Wii :l

If MICROSOFT SPENT LITERALY 5 CENTS THEY COULD FIX ONE OF IT MANY PROBLEMS there are two metal pads with gell in between then so that they dont heat up and screw the motherboard but the gell dries up after a certian amount of time.
