  • good

  • 24 is the short form. The 83 form is the complete form. See Sifu Justin Meehan's site and his student Sifu Herb Parran on the web. From a former student of Sifu Justin-The Professor

  • Isn't it 24 form instead of 83 form ??

I'm just getting started with 24 form.

    Thanks.

  • The extended forms build on the 24-form. So, the new moves of the 48-form start after Elbow to Heart, and then the final three moves are the last 3 of the 24-form. Similarly with the 83-form.

  • very good.

If he knock his teacher's door as much as other students, he might be as good as other students.

  • What? Not quite usre what that means, simanan.

  • Master Zhang is really very very good. I just feel it funny because you said "indoor", and he lives on the other side of the globe.

BTW, have you ever seen Chen Xiang, another student of Mr. Feng?

  • Simanan, thanks for your reply. The answer to the "indoor" student mystery is that Master Zhang lived in Beijing until 1991, when he emigrated to America at age 64. Until then, for 26 years, he was Grandmaster Feng's senior student and "indoor" disciple. They are also close personal and family friends. And yes, I know Chen Xiang. He's a good taiji player, a good person and a gentleman.

  • This is the most embellished version of Chen taiji I've seen. It's great because the many avenues of combat application are apparent during each posture.

  • its rubish!

  • un video muy practico, didactico y de buen contenido, gracias por compartirlo... yo estoy iniciandome en el taichi y me fue muy util, gracias nuevamente

  • Master Zhang Xue Xin is a senior 'indoor' student of Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang. Here he is demonstrating the first five movements of the Hunyuan Chen style 83-movement long form (erlu) developed by Grandmaster Feng. See Master Zhang's website at http://www.silkreeler.com/index.shtml for more details and information about classes in San Francisco.

  • thanks for the web address, would be very difficult to find otherwise.
