That is Cumberland wrestling. Practised in the north of England, north France, little bit in scandinavian, and in Tenerife. Personally I do this sport, its a very intense and fun sport, both to watch and participate in.

You should visit and try it. See if you still think so. You have to maintain the upper body grip and only use legs. Not as easy as it looks against a decent wrestler.
