  • See, at Walmart, everything was 99p. Even fluffy pink landlines. Shame it changed to Home Values...

  • cough LIDL cough

  • does he say 59 p instead of 99p with the water?

  • "It all goes down the same hole." Hopefully it's my arse because my mouth is too good for any of that shit (if it was real).

  • This is one "brawny" video. =p

  • Land Gull! Genius :-)

  • anyone notice 'land gull' £1.19 from £1.00 lol

  • Doesn't that look good in the circumstances!

  • I genuinely want some Bolgnade, I think all I'd need is bolognaise mix and soda water, I'm so trying it at work tomorrow.

  • @dragonforce525 let us know how it goes :)

  • @dragonforce525 So go on, tell us what it was like.

  • @Shannmeister Well it was like a fizzy tomato, not actually that bad.

  • @dragonforce525 And the good news is that it would probably count towards one of your 5 a day. Healthy food with a fizz. Hurrah!

  • Your video is a favorite on Italy

  • Didildidi?

  • That's not just any food, that's M&W food!

  • I had a chicken style over roaster covered in butter coloured sandwich dressing for dinner last night. Being unemployed never tasted so good.

  • the chicken is more expensive on sale than the original price!

  • @brennand61 Oh, it is 1.09? For a second, I thought the original price was 1.99 @_@

  • @TheKetsuban you might be right there

  • i just love the way he says DIDLDIDI :D i could listen to that all day long :D

  • I thought this was a Quagmire sketch

  • It's like Tesco's Value line!

  • Mmm, bolognade!

  • Hahaha. Gotta love Mitchell & Webb.

  • aldi is actually pretty good quality. i'd say its better than tesco, sainbury's, certainly morrison's. but not expensive.

  • @E101ification most definitely works for lidl.

  • it does make me laugh somewhat when I hear people taking the piss out of Lidl for being "cheap and nasty", when it's been proven that the quality of products from Lidl is not only equal to, but actually better than products from places like Morrissons and Asda.

As someone who worked in Morrissons believe me I'd much rather eat or drink something bought from a Lidl anyday.

I mean, why would you want to pay more, for less quality? when you could pay less for more?

    still funny sketch though

  • @E101ification how much did they pay you?

  • I love Mitchell and Webb, but I really don't get why people have this thing against Lidl - "it's cheap, so it MUST be low quality...."

well...no, it's cheap because it comes from Germany were things are cheaper.

Of course some stuff you get there is kind of dodgy - but that's true of all supermarkets, not just the cheap ones.

The fact is they've proven that the quality of food and drink from Lidl compared to somewhere like Morissons, is not only equal to, but better than.

  • @mthrnaturesson I once saw a piece of graffiti scrawled on the wall of a Lidl store in Latchford, Warrington which said "People who shop at Lidl are Polish or gay". Hmmm.........

Boss man has got a humour bypass. After all, if there was no Lidl and no Aldi, there'd be no Didldidi. Well-known establishments are subject to parody. He must realise that?!

  • i always hate it when people do this, but i cant help myself "it all goes down the same hole"

  • Land Gull! Genius!

  • Value water, WITH NO BITS :D

  • HAHAHA FUNNY! XDDD

  • Bargains, Bargains, Bargains, all at Didldidi
