One of my first teacher in Ballroom dancing was Mr. Popov,the Russian Champion,mentioned that he could not use numbers to count, he onlyused quick,quick,slow to do Latin.Years later I learned from Corky Ballas doing Latin with 234,234,234. Well the difference on the surface is very slight,so I was thinking. They all seemed to do the same phrasing,I thought! But now when I looked into the fine details, then I realized why I could not get the result I was hoping for for years!...dancewu(dot)net...
When comparing this Philippino guy doing the Cuban motion, as if he did not know he should be doing clockwise or counter-clockwise, I felt so sorry for him, so I suggest that he should take a look of "Dancing Basics with Passion by Slavik" and forget about his " American CUBAN Style counting" start learning 234, 234, 234. might do him some good! Or in YouTube here, He could type "close basic by Slavik" and learn something! Forget about the names CUBAN STYLE?or INTERNATIONAL? IT DOES NOT MATTER!

QQS is beginners timing, remeber this is a 4/4 dance. The poise should be forward when executing forward walks...but the hip action is quite good
