@squerintain - sounds like they are using a direct input on it. needs a good fender amp or a high octane audio amplifier. what to much mid and none of the twang that beautiful instrument is capable of. she is quite talented but it breaks my heart to hear the greatest guitar sound like that.... i also wonder if there is phasing occuring between the direct or amp and the string sounds coming through the vocal mic.... anyways, enough analysis. other than that keep up the good work

She's awesome!! Still!! I remember her performances for rock quest etc when she was younger also sing and song writer comp (can't remember the name) can't remember if she won or not?? But Totally new she would make it somewhere. Her voice was great back then and now...OMG AMAZING!! Love the direction she has gone. Her voice suits this kind of soulful style. I will be buying her album and would oneday love to see her live.

Lilymae2010 - I respectfully disagree - her songs are not overproduced. If you had not heard the CD first you would not have made that comment. How many pop singers today can reduce their songs to guitar/piano/voice and still capture their essence? (answer: none). Every time I hear one of her songs live it sounds different and fresh.

I wish her a long and successful career because I can't wait to see (and hear) her music evolve. (but also hurry up too - I'm over 50 :-))

i am not a big fan of mainstream pop/female singers. i love kimbra, marina, ellie, grimes, cap lori, etc. BUT i do think Lady Gaga is amazing acoustic, just at her piano singing her songs. i think its brilliant but i dont listen to her normal songs!
