Thanks for posting these. If possible, could you post a clip of the full version of the final showdown between Tina and George. The made-for-TV version apparently cut that scene too and I have not been able to see it. Thanks again.
i saw this movie last night on cable.LOVED IT.this is my kind of movie: multidimensional, flawed and questionable characters, insightful dialog, excellent performances, no happy ending.i wish dramatic comedies nowadays were like this.
Boy I can see why she's cheating with him. Wow. Totally sexy is Frank. The whole movie was featured here at one time and there is so much more to it. We'd love to see it all again....I can't find it on DVD. But thanks for this!
Carrie came from the Chicagoland area. Us Chicagoans claimed her though. I still remember walking down Michigan Avenue back to work with my sister and friends and talking about her and this movie in 1970. Good memories, fabulous movie!
I have a piece of Frank, please. Too hot, too sexy for me. He is devious and careless while being totally magnetic. Love this movie. Wish you'd bring the whole movie back - it's pretty powerful.
I guess a good actor can fulfill the part of villian, hero, lover, hater, funny or sorry by reaching down and finding those traits in her/him self. You hit the nail on the head Cillian Murphy is cynical-evil in most of his movies and so is this Lassagna A la carte`.I try not to watch anything with Murphy in it.I don't like violent films in general.
Frank Langella was a good choice to play the cad George Praeger, but he was more soft-spoken than the George in the book. That George was much more hard-bitten and cutting than the gentler George in the movie. Awful as George is in the movie, he's worse in the book.
I was always so upset with Carrie over her indifference to being nominated for an Academy Award. She didn't even show up at the ceremony.

I didn't like the movie much since the storyline sadden me, but I loved the casts and their performances, especially Frank. He was so cute here.

Ebay --an old VHS, bidding was high. Shelled out 40- for poor quality but Frank was worth it.
