Indeed, Montreal's metro is run with trains on rubber tires. The noise those trains generate is much different from steel-wheel trains and seems quieter to most people.

This was not planned. I got lucky! But apparently, there are a whole lot of MR-63s on the orange line these days because of the retrofitting of MR-73s.
