i think that it's not really post rock it's much intensive and emotional when you hear god is an astronaut it's more calming than this group i prefer ITTCT because it's like they have heard my heart and change it into music it's like they understand what i feel...

@alcoholya, I know what post-rock is, and no not all post-rock songs are calming, but defenitely most of them are. And I agree that it is wonderful that so much emetion can fit one track, without words. But that doesn't mean I can't like other music (like Linkin Park). But still, post-rock is the best music genre I've ever heard.

Btw, fear satan is more progressive rock instead of post-rock (it's more like a fusion between the 2 styles). But, just like you said, "fuck the post-rock label, because most bands have a too wide, different style and tracend the label.

@poopyhead280 Because maybe ur not, but im interested into what kind of music im actually listening to, its origins and its influence. Besides that, it gives order in this mesh of different songs/bands. This doesn't take away that most bands can't be classified under 1 or 2 genres, because every band kinda has its own sound (especially this kind of bands).
