I have seen David live 3 times and would go to see him again.

Two of the times I saw him it wasn't a full set but when  I saw him as the main act and he did a full set he was brilliant(also bumped into him in the street and he was kind enough to chat and sign for me.

Still think the album is fantastic and looking forward to the next one.

Even though his band were there a lot of the time on tv shows they don't allow the band to play live as it takes to much time setting everything up so the band mimes and the singer sings live to a backing track.

Actually, it looks as though there's a bit of a technical problem going on with his mic too. Right at the beginning he starts angling the mic towards him- he doesnt normally do that, he sings that first verse with his arms free to dance/move. Also, you can hear the faintness of his voice compaired to the music of the band. And the echoy sound it is. If there is one thing this performance is not, its not lip synched. Hes also missed out certain vocal riffs he often does in his performances.

Oh, goodness, no! I hate that sort of judge. I think its riddiculous to have someone just to insult people.

I wasnt trying to insult David, I think he's one hell of a singer and performer, I've been looking at one hell of a lot of vids of him receintly, I think he's great. But I can hear that during this performance, he is having a bit of trouble with the tone of his voice, and with keeping the pitch.

horribly off key during a live performance in front of an audience. I was fully walmed up, and was singing perfectly to some of the young kinds not some 5 minutes before that. But I got overpowered with the volume of the music used to fill up the hall, I was having problems with the mic, and I went horribly flat during quite a bit of the performance. I was close to tears, but there was nothing I could do but continue.

We've all seen and heard David sing amazingly, it just went a bit wrong here.
