I think it insults them somewhat when you attribute their sound to recording it outside. I would have thought you'd want to praise the fact that they can sound so good with such low quality instruments along with other factors. That kid is amazing at his one string guitar.
The rawness of this informal performance is more touching than the studio version but I'm not mad at these guys for making a living.Great stuff.

I actually like this version much more than the one that is on their CD. Was quite surprised when I listened to the CD, the magic was not there

these guys are so phenomenally talented
that boy with the one-string built it out of a wire and a milk can and it sounds wonderful...that always amazes me.! :)
