@TheTristanvideos i have this board and i can downhill completely fine im 140 lbs and the flex doesnt screw it up for me so it shouldn't for your scrawny ass
i just got this board today and havent been skating that long and wanted to know if im goin downhill should i tighten my trucks and also any tips on how to slide?
great review though you did just studer a little and alot of side comments and i do the same things but other than that its a good review! and i even have the same board a i've gotten a pair of shock risers to lift it of the ground a little so then i'm not fucken the board up! out!? :|]
I put clear recycled glass tape on my deck as soon as I got it a few months ago. I'm planning to put harder wheels on it than the 75a / 69mm sector 9 wheels it came with. The 75a wheels are good if the roads you travel are rough are the sidewalks are bumpy. Other wise, if your going to start taking on the steeper terrains you need to be able to slide to control your speed and that is when you need the harder wheels.
@TheAussieBoyz i learned to slide on it...its decent because its flexy so it kinda helps plus it has curved edges sort of like gas pedals...but the concave is okay...like i said its decent
yes the board is made for gullwings..its a good carving board for the price..if your're gonna go carve down the hills and still go pretty fast then get more stable trucks and a stiffer board because for some reason when i tighten my trucks they barely make a difference...use bears on a better board they're more for stability if you freeride
Ive got some big hills by my house, but I perfer not bomb, is this board really good for carving down hills? Also, hows the deck compare to others when your carving, is it better or worse?
@clubpengui1n ya u can do that but the wheels they come with are like 78a i think so theyre better with grip and they have sharp lips....i got 83a wheels on mine right now but if you want something stable then get a stiffer board with different trucks n grippier wheels
it also depends on what wheels you wanna get...mine cost about $54 but theyre slidier wheels...just get wheels with more grip if ur gonna cruise with this board
im new to longboarding and im 5"7 137pounds and i heard this board is great for cruzing so im looking forward to this board are if u recomend the 9 star

clubpengui1n 11 months ago
@clubpengui1n 9 star is a downhill board..stiffer so not as good for carving but has more concave to keep your feet locked in.
siderealboarders 11 months ago

clubpengui1n 1 year ago
@clubpengui1n the nine star is more like a downhill deck but this board is pretty flexy so u could try the sandwedge since its a little more stiffer
siderealboarders 11 months ago
@clubpengui1n as long as you dont ride with your feet too close it'll be alright
