Camera Lucidia is not cheating at all, a good drawer and a bad drawer will do totally diferent things with it! Ingres did beautiful drawings\portraits , he used camera lucidia to put the strutur on the paper, and he worked out for example the faces by his own hand, this instrument is beautiful if we want to mix science\at live drawing! I personally don´t like though when people used it with fotos... at live is totally magical!
