@messos Nah, it's not a Stock Supra. It has a SP70 turbo which is a small but decent turbo for a street Supra. What he meant by 'stock' 2JZ-GTE was a stock engine so it means stock pistons, rods, crank, cams, valves etc. Just added a turbo, an exhaust, (looks like a HKS Titanium) and maby other goodies around the engine like a minifold maby or I dunno what. Just let the 'engine' stock. It can handle it no problem with that much power.

I love supras they're my favorite car but the porsche lifted off the gas thats why the supra caught up. There's another video of this same race on youtube from the porsche side and its about 10 seconds longer and where this one ends that one goes on to see the porsche just leave the supra in the dust.

Yeah the Porsche won but only because it got a much better start. The Supra had no traction on 1st and 2nd and also the driver didn't wait enough to gain back some traction before shifting to 3rd which resulted in some lag. The fact that it caught up and passed the Porsche pretty fast when he 'finally' got under boost with full traction prooves that the Supra has a lot more power. A more decent driver in the Supra would have raped that Porsche.

The fit and finnish of the Skyline's , Supra's, and RX7's that i have been in is exceptional, power is comparable with more available if you want, handling is great (maybe not up there with the Porsche) and cheaper to service, especially if you are knowledgible in tuning you management system and the general service stuff. Yes I do own an RX7 so I know few Jap Import owners and drove a mildly tuned Skyline for 18 Mths.

Try the GTS-T, Can be more fun than the GTR due to the more "chuckable" handling. Often the GTR can "seem" to have to much grip but this can be tuned to your liking with a torque split controller. I imported an R33 Skyline gts-t from Japan for my girl at the time (6yr ago) & it was a bargin. Still going strong to my knowledge.
