So, I was riding in lead on my motorcycle training and, on this big middle-of-nowhere roundabout, I took a left instead of a right. My instructor and the other trainee went right. So, I was thinking, "Its okay, maybe it just circles around."
Turns out, it opened up into a dual carriage way. Rain was hammering down, I had a few meters visibility; so now I was starting to panic; then I saw a sign that said, "Bristol, 18 miles." I died a little inside.
Water boarding, if done correctly, has no danger of making the person drown, just making them experience the sensation of drowning. It can easily be beaten if you have the training to convince yourself that you'll be fine, and thus not freak out...
Weird weather here in Ohio too. Up in the mid 50s. Fire and and drowning are my fears too. I had a condition once where for no apparent reason I simply couldn't take my next breath. Just about the time I was ready to freak I was able to breath again. Scary stuff. Was in a hostage situation once too. Having a .357 at the back of your head ranks right up there.
