This is a good version, but I sincerely believe it is best done outside in a busy street or mall, with just a small stripped down 5 or 6 piece band, every musician burning with pentecostal fire and zeal. Booth was first and foremost a warrior not an entertainer....He wanted to see the nations burn with God's Glory.
beautiful! I believe this is the way it was meant to be sung - in a way that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
We used to sing this at my old Salvation Army Corps and even when there were only a few in the congregation somehow it sounded like there were many more of us...
it's more of a Salvation Army song, but i guess that is Wesleyan theology. They've definitely jazzed it up from the version we sing in the salvation army.
Great song...does anyone reading this go to this church? I am wondering if the pastors sitting on the platform in those big chairs without worshipping are distracting. I don't understand that. Things that make you go hmmm.....

The song is over 100 years old and the original is actually even harder than this. Sounds more like Dreams by Van Halen.
-Amazing.
