If there was only one fan there and she didn't sign an autograph, that would be rude, yes. But it was a crowd, and If I were in that crowd, and I didn't get an autograph, I'd be disappointed, but i wouldn't think that she's rude. She's a mom with a busy life.

Actually if I were a celeb I wouldn't be crazy about autographs either... I've learned recently (note: I live no where near Hollywood), many people are repeat autograph seekers.. "professionals" or "hobbyists" who seek them over and over again just to sell them on e-bay. For many that's their main source of income. Many celebs don't mind them, but... it's easy to see why celebs aren't like "Oh, I have to stay and sign until everyone is gone"... they could be selling them for all they know.
