This did actually happen as reported by the BBC, but what actualy happened was that if you actually literally translated into manderin it would make scense. This happens if you translate in a lot of languages such as Russian. I think the tourists were lucky the Chinese actually gave them an english translation. The Yanks would be fucked if it was in French.

Haha...very funny. What a great way to ease the tension about the China at war over Taiwan video. This video reminds me that when I visited Forebidden city, which is a very popular, internationally-known tourist destination in Beijing, the publc restroom there was basically just a hole on the ground with no door. It was funny to see how the tourists, especially women tourists, reacted. Hope they fix THAT problem before the Olympics.
