Did you lock off the supply? Dangerous way to check for supply. No lights can also mean the tester isnt working. these arent the methods a professional would use and yet your a professional company showing amateurs the 'right' (sic) way.. At least show people the safe way to work!
@Stevesplatto I would go one step further to say why are we seeing this anyway. This sort of job is illegal in Australia and several other countries and should only be done by a qualified COMPETENT person.
@DJR1973ABC It's about interpretation of 'competent person'. How do you quantify 'relevant experience and knowledge' there are no qualifications cited in the regs?
For me the issues is, here is a professional company demonstrating in their series of videos some fundamental errors and poor working practises. What does it say about the company? certainly isnt doing them any favours.
for gods sake put a grommet on the cable entry to the box to stop the cable from chaffing.no earth link accross from the earth terminal on the socket plate to the earth terminal of the STEEL box.AND there is no way any electrician worth their salt would use a martindal tester to verify the work, nob.
Is this video still up even after all the bad comments. what a bunch of cowboys this company is !!

use a test screwdriver instead of the tester on the line side. your tester is not working 0.0

If that's the standard of your work !..........
no earth fly leads (matter of opinion)
No grommet.
Cables not folded before pushing face plate home
Copper conductors showing at termination
Conductors not checked for previous damage from terminal screws (may need to be cut back)
No Earth Loop impedance test done.
Bunch of eejits !
