But again you are referencing the DC hardcore scene by itself not hardcore as a whole. Pantera ripped off Exhorder who were doing what Pantera was doing before Pantera was. Oldschool when used tends to refer to the older sound. Not the exact original bands nor bands of one location of a broad style of music.
