I lived there for 15 years, and it's always great. Gets windy and cold a bit during jan/feb but water tends to warm up just before spring break. in the summer its perfect but hot so prepare to get burned. And for you peeps that like the green, check out Cloud 9 or Jamaica on the Bay, although several other stores carry "tools". If u look at the vid of the "south padre island skater gangster", the place they are fighting outside of, the large purple building, is the larger Cloud 9 store. peace<3.
