  • You didn't show it operating :(

  • Does the PR-1 have DMX?

  • @BlackSGMan NO DMX

  • How high to you have to have your projector so the picture comes in clear. I have 2 cannon lights that are high end, but i have to put those high and i still get somewhat of a drag. Or it doesn't look right if im not standing right under it.

  • Hey Mike, what pole mount bracket are you using on the fixture?

  • Mike,

I been trying to communicat with you but the dam computer hasnt been letting me post a reply. Anyways, hope it goes through now. I just bought that fixture two days ago...i got a few questions. What do you prefer...glass or steel gobos? I am really feeling the glass but obviously more expensive and might have to raise my price on that for the clients. Any good tips or tricks regarding this fixture? Like i said, i just got it, so any input will help. Thanks buddy!

  • @WindyCityMix The steel Gobos work fine, if your doing a "HIGH END" wedding the glass would be the way to go. It weighs 20lbs so you need to make sure you have a way of mounting it on a pole or find a place for it to hand to point down at the dance floor, it comes with a wired remote but I usually just leave it on rotate and it runs throughout the night. I have 2 of these by the way and have had a bride or 2 glass gobos at the same time.

  • @mike71flores Thanks Mike. Well i sord of consider ALL of my weddings kinda high end....and am thinking of just giving them the glass gobo options. As far as mounting...i think i am going to use one of my old tripods from a light stand and use a T-bar and hang it up on that. Thanks alot buddy!

  • Hi Mike. I want to offer something at weddings that has really good output. Have you ever seen some of the 35, 70, and 150W HID offerings, like the Eco Spot 150? I wonder how it compares to the PR1.

  • hey mike, is that sheet what you charge your clients for the gobo options? what is your out-of-pocket per gobo? is there any profit?

im still looking for that perfect gobo option, as i have been asked for this often. if you had to do it over again, would you get the pr1 still today or go with something else?????

    hope all is well.

    alohaz

  • @BOBBYBLENDZ Yes, when I recorded this video it was with full audio, but then realized i had the mute button on.....just find a gobo maker and then double your cost , they sell really well...the PR1 is a great light 250w bulb runs hot, PR1 ROTATES but weighs 20lbs...But ive sold 2 of these to a client with no problem or hesitation in the sell, think about it...who doesn't want to see their name in lights?

  • @BOBBYBLENDZ go to goboman com

  • Hi, Can you tell me where you send to make Gobos, I really want to buy this , but Can you tell me how you do with each wedding you sent make each time a new one??? and how much cost? really really nice

    Thank you.

  • @knichile you can have your projector paid for with just 3 gigs. I charge 175 - 200

  • thanks for the video... I have one of these also and I was not able to pull the gobo wheel all the way out so I thought it was broke but after seeing this video yours in the same... whew!!

  • I miss DMX on this unit

  • Nice, no sound at the end :) but perhaps this is a new style, it so simple, just showing us what it has, I got it all!

  • no sound ???

  • @A1partydjs Yes, I filmed this with the mute button on my camera....OUCH!! Decided what the heck I'll go ahead and post it....
