  • Still playin this today Double dash for the win XD

  • pop resident evil 45 in a gamecube and its automatically a 10

  • @purplesascwtch64 i ment 4 not 45

  • Ahh, fitting non-compatible gaming cartridges = humorific! If he had only used an Atari 2600 game like River Raid. Oh well, next time.

  • love the controller too i use it to play snes n64 and sega genisis games on my wii. ow yeah and my game cube games also. Man i love my wii.

  • this is such a amazing game console

  • Just got mine. Jet Black, and it goes perfectly with my gameboy player!

  • You say this is the first cd based console for the nintendo fans, well corrections corrections. It's the second, as Nintendo worked with Phillips to make a cd based console earlier, that ended with CD-I.

  • I absolutely love the design and name of the console. It says it all, "Gamecube".

  • I play only Nintendo console games. Feel free to hate but....... In a few years, I will be able to enjoy your current favorites from the 360 and PS3 in download format on the cheap on a future Nintendo console. I am looking at you Neo Geo and Sega.

  • @hypemiitrudog07 The GameCube is a really famous Nintendo console even 'til this day. I think Nintendo might Remake the GameCube into something more awesome in the future due to how famous it was and still is

  • The Gamecube was such an awesome system back in the day.. and it still is awesome.

  • I remember getting one of these on xmas in the late years of its life and being disapointed.

this xmas im getting a time machine so I can go back and smack myself.

  • you can still drop a nintendo down the stairs and it will still work can you say that for the other systems?

  • The gamecube was revolutionary. At least nintendo was back then. They were able to fit extreme amounts of NPCs and enemies and general highly coded models on screen at the same time compared to others, with less performance issues.

  • @PowBlock96 Also your Nintendo console could get abused violently and still work great. I never abuse my stuff but it has fallen violently before like the time my wii fell from my car trunk to the floor at full speed. I still feel bad for it but it's working great! Nintendo really thinks ahead unlike Xbox and PS3

  • 0:36 that's ironic because I was a Xbox and Gamecube kid back in the day.

  • any one know of any store where you can buy old games/consoles like this at?

  • Gamecube was and still is the greatest shit in the world, honestly I would play it more than my ps3

  • i hear mario kart 64 in the backround

  • Nice video, i have the black one, the game i bought for it when i got it was Tony Hawk's Underground 2, and i got some more games for it

  • Disregard my last comment

  • Is that game boy slot in every gamecube?

  • @TheKpa11 No, it's an addon for the gamecube called the gameboy player

  • gamecube is the best nintendo console ever

  • Time splitters 2 was the best one made.

  • I remember when I was kid I use to stand on one foot on my gamecube and it never broke. Also the games are awesome, i'm replaying paper mario right now

  • lol cosmic carnage XD

  • sometimes i miss my GC

  • Didnt mention that the AV cable on the SNES and N64 also work on the gamecube and vice versa.. now i can have all my nintendos (except NES) hooked up to one multi out box

  • oh yer and i forgot it has in my opinion the most comfortable controller i've ever used.

  • The Gamecube has the best looking last gen console game by a mile, Resident Evil 1 Remake.

  • still play on mine from time to time

  • at 0:18 who else expected the ps1 boots screen song?

  • hey i got a question incomcompany my gamecube controller has no plus pad help all i have instead of the +pad is a circle pad that dosen`t move at all just a button what happened?

  • Cosmic carnage

  • im the 110,900 viewer you're welcome

  • my Wii sits in a box, my GC is hooked to my TV. need i say more....

  • @fistinass Granted that the Wii is backwards compatible with gamecube games, it's still nice to have the original hardware the games were designed for.

  • More powerful than the PS2, too! It's too bad they limited their sales with the non-dvd player. I do want one fo these for the GBA player.

  • you can just get roms and emulators for the gba games. Hd hookup to your HD tv, boom no need for a gamecube

  • LOL..you can punch people with it..:) great review..

  • At 3:35 that horn is actually part of the Windows NT 5.0 Beta startup. Just an interesting fact.

  • Dude your so awesome, i would subscribe to you twice

  • Both 32X on gamecube i lol'ed

  • GAmecube is the best system ever

  • I will never sell this beast of a console

  • i can do the same with a gameboy emulator.........

  • Still got my old gamecube :)

  • HAHA i have had mine since they came out and it still works!1

  • Comment removed

  • Lol, 32X.

  • lol Amazing review of an amazing console

  • you keep flashing your hands on the video hurting my head......

  • Comment removed

  • admit it, you would spin the disc a little before you shut the lid lol

  • @spacepolic29 nope, never did that

  • @spacepolic29 god old days

  • my favorite system :)

  • The gamecube will be a 'collectible' april second.. i feel old

  • yup i sold mine... and it had the gamboy adapter. I just didn't want to store the thing

  • Gamecube: Around ten bucks.

    Katana: 20 000$.

I'd look more badass beating the shit out of someone in an alley with a Gamecube. The choice is clear.

  • ahh twilight princess...

  • I got my GameCube for $20 new at GameStop....new -_-

  • @xblkinection77 ah lucky you. i have been looking around and the best deal i have found yet is $50, its used with a controller a memory card and 6 random games which the seller hasn't specified. good buy ?

  • @waseem1173 I would definitely say its a good buy, all together including my 2 games, memory card, and the system was around $50. AS LONG AS THE SYSTEM WORKS <- Key componet

  • @xblkinection77 I sure hope so that it works, sounded like a good fellow assured me he'll return the money if i find anything wrong with it. and he has resident evil 4 and soul caliber II in mint condition ! i was pretty much sold at that point lol didn't even listened what other 4 games he has. oh well can't wait till i get it.

  • @waseem1173 Hope you enjoy your GameCube very much! ;D

  • do you need a gamecube controller to play gamecube games on the Wii?

  • @9nxt Really?

  • I still have my GC.

  • sob sob sob I WANT MY GAMECUBE BACK

  • GAMEGUBE FTW

  • I know right

  • I wanted to hang on to mine, but there came a point when the gamecube section of my local game shop started to shrink, until it became all but half a shelf... still wish I kept it for TimeSplitters 2 though!

  • AWW MAN! Why did i get rid of my GameCube D:

  • @Slashers790 It's ok. Just soft mod your wii and emulate gba games.

  • I have two at home and I do have Wii also a PS3 and 3DS.

  • It's a shame I don't see the port for component video. I thought that was the biggest draw at the time.

  • My Gamecube looked just like this. Then. it fell, and broke. I bought a silver one, after that. It has "Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness", instead of "Nintendo Gamecube", like my first one. I haven't had a problem since.

  • @Bufa491us That is the same one I have. Mine has Gamer Grafx for Pokemon XD along with a "Not For Resale" copy of said game.

  • I have had a gamecube for 9 years already, it still works and goes like hell.

  • oh the nostalgia i love the gamecube so many great games

  • I still have gamecube. Still play it. Love it <3

  • Nintendo should make a triangular console and call it TriForce 64 EX2...

    ...

    ...

    Maybe no...

  • I still have my gamecube(since I'm a collector), and yea I mainly only as well use it for gameboy player, but I do like to use it once and a while to play gamecube games, since I don't use my wii for gamecube games that much, but you gotta love this console, tales of symphonia and wind waker ftw :D

  • @1:20 I was about to say the same thing, except instead of punching, I'd say use it as a club

  • The gamecube is my favorite console. Looks good, has a great controller that works good and is comfortable. Also you have so many fun games like Mario sunshine, Windwaker, RE 4 etc to name a few I like. My only complaint is the fact that you are required to use memory cards. It would of been nice if it had some built in hard-drive.

  • I still have my gamecube =3

  • Yes, you deep shit, the almight Nintendo will never play shit products and games created by the non existing SEGA, deal with it !

  • Cartridges are the best

  • What I did when my gamecube died is me and my dad took out all the electronics and turned it into a lunchbox. (I still use it sometimes)

  • @Endercrow32 ima do dat lol

  • @Endercrow32 wtf

  • @Endercrow32 lol.

  • @Endercrow32 LIKE A BOSS!

  • @Endercrow32 i'm jealous....

  • HOLY CRAP! GAMESTOP, THE ONLY PLACE THAT SELLS THE GAMECUBE AND GAMES AND ACCESSORIES, IS GOING TO MAKE THIS A COLLECTORS ITEM AT APRIL 2!

THAT @#$%ING MEANS NO MORE GAMECUBE! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And just when I was planning to get 3 more gamecube controllers... :(

  • @BizerkPixel From what I recall at Gamestop, they sell used Gamecubes for about $40, but you can easily spend half that on Amazon or Ebay.

  • @burn0all0toast I have a wii. It's just that I want to get controllers and games. I thought I had all the time in the world to get whatever I needed. hmph...

  • My first game console was the Gamecube. It wasn't the first console I ever played, I used to play the Playstation before any of the 6th generation consoles came out, but the Gamecube is one of the best video game consoles ever! : )

  • If I end up getting a WiiU I'll put my Wii away/sell it and keep my WiiU & GC out.

  • Timesplitters 2, best multiplayer shooter EVER. I've played em all new and old but splitters 2 on the gamecube against your mates is class

  • gamestop will stop taking these in starting in the middle of April =( get your "buttfucking" while you can xD

  • My first home console. I spent most of my time gaming on my Pentium 4 back then. I still used my GameCube as late as 2008, when I got into the retro computer and games scene. I still have mine though.

  • I softmodded my wii to play Play videogames N64 and back through my SD card. FUCK YEAH!

  • Its disheartning. to look at all of this stuff being labeled classic, or retro.. it really drives home how old the gamer generation is getting.

  • @Grimsquirrel I grew up with the GameCubev, I wouldn't say it's classic, but it's still a nostalgic system for me. Then around 2008, I got into retro consoles, then into retro computers, which is my main focus for collecting these days.

  • If only nintendo would of kept making systems like the GameCube instead of making a piece of shit wii

  • @TheLoganCurtis The Wii U will be aimed for core gamers.

  • @Majorasword64 sure it will. Im seeing mario with a grumpy face.

  • @TheCohagen No it has good 3rd party support (the crysis series will be on it.)

  • they are 29.99 @ gamestop

  • DAT HANDLE

  • Gamecube is only 15$ on Amazon i might buy one and use it as a weapon

  • @olfan92 most of them have like, 20$ shipping though. Most that i've seen anyways.

    (but lol)

  • @Samurott12 2-4$ shipping on Amazon.

  • @olfan92 international delivery?

  • @teoferrazzi 2$ i believe.

  • @olfan92 link that bad boy!

  • @teoferrazzi go to amazon and search for Gamecube.

  • @teoferrazzi on amazon UK the gamecube is £16.99

    + £2.03delivery. so around 15-20$ for a gamecube,depening on who sells it.

  • @olfan92 and thanks

  • holy shit how did you knew i spend months play R.E.4 that's all i did we

    when i got my N.G.C. 3 hours a day

  • Gamecube is the Best Game Console Nintendo made

  • The Gamecube controller might just be the best... EVER.

  • Love the GameCube, underrated but great console with awesome games and an awesome controller.

  • I miss my platnium metroid prime edition gamecube;( oh the joy of ssbm, metroid prime 1 & 2, RE 4.... And so much more.... Plus holding down Z when you power it on lol:)

  • o.

  • I use to have one of those just like that, brings me good memories back when I was a little elf! :)

  • Was it really 2001 when this console came out? Wow, where did the time go?

  • What a great little console.

  • i got a wii instead XD i also saw the gamecube for $15

  • No Nintendo has ever played Sega cartridges! So why do you expect for the cube to play a Sega 32x game! Now if you said that it could not play and NES or SNES cartridge I would totally aggree with you.

  • @java575 He wasn't being literal he was just joking (not that he doesn't think it would be awesome cuz he's a fan of Sega).

  • @java575 You could actually play Sega Genesis on the Wii.

  • @BizerkPixel If you read what I typed I said cartridges not downloadable games.

  • @java575 ooohh

  • lol way to go and promote violence Mark the "nintendo punch cube" :P

  • This is my favorite system of all time.

  • HAHAHA punch people with game cube :-D sounds good for a zombie appocalypse!

  • i´m so sorry i sold mine

  • @ivanbarbot4 nooooooooooooooo how dare you, Nintendo is going to be crossed with you!

I'm calling Miyamoto right now to ban you from all the games that he designed, how cruel are you to hurt Nintendo?!

  • @gothicfan51 i was young and stupid, sorry

  • @ivanbarbot4 that's what she said!

  • @ivanbarbot4 Same. One of the biggest regrets of my life. Getting the stuff new in box is extremely expensive now too. The consoles run $100-400+, the controllers are $50-$100+, and the games are $50-$100+ I'm tempted to buy one anyway. lol

  • @goofeewalden1 it wouldn´t be a bad idea, i´m thinking about the same too

  • The reason Nintendo used small discs for the GameCube was because they didn't want people pirating games.

  • One of my favorite systems of all time.

  • why do you want to play 32x games on the gamecube?

  • I love gamecube I had better luck buying gamecube games. More then any other cd format for one there disc are smaller and I find they load 50 times better then ps2 games. And you are lucky if they do even load at all and this is true if you have the original fat ps2 then you probley know what I am talking about game error fallowed by a load fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I grew up in the Gamecube days. I can't wait to get Madden '08 for it <3

  • THE GAMECUBE IS CONSIDERED CLASSIC!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!

  • I am dying for some wind waker, but I need the controller, the game and the memory card, man if only they would put it on the 3Ds compatible with the extra analog stick add on.

  • Screw the haters! GAMECUBE FTW

  • Can't play sega 32X games? don't tell you can't play Atari Jaguar games either? wow that's really disappointing

  • It is super cheap, I saw a Gamecube with two controllers and all the cords plus a memory card for only $30 at half-priced books.

  • Not a fan of the hands constantly moving in and out of the picture...

  • I have 3 Gamecubes : (

  • I agree they shouldn't have gotten rid of cartridges. So fuckin' sick of discs cause once they're fucked, they're pretty much eternally fucked (excuse my french).

  • @madthrasher88 you are right! with the size of chips you can get today it would be no problem to make them compete. Just be more expensive. I would pay it. My DVDs never last.

  • SEGA 32X ON A GAME BOY PLAYER..........WHAT?!

  • Hey, I never got that gameboy player at the bottom when I had one. Also the DS comes with a gameboy player

  • I always got lost playing metroid prime for gamecube and then later metroid prime 2

  • lmao sega 32 ex games wow

  • timesplitters 2 was the first gamecube game i owned

  • it seems like the wii is more sensitive about scratches on gamecube games

  • 1st Console I Owned 1. GameCube 2.Ps2 3. Xbox 360 next Xbox 720 xD
