dont try doing this on 5.0.1 you lose all your apps, everything but newstand :L only way to fix is a restore, trying to boot tethered or out of dfu just doesnt work. thumbs up so people can see.

@dpscarfe Actually the same thing happened to me when I installed it, and I got really worried so I restored my iPod. But then I installed it again to see what would happen, and it did delete everything except Newsstand, but when I just held the lock button and slide to power off, and then turned it back on, everything was back. Going into safe mode doesn't count though. People just get really worried when they see everything's gone.

@MrTheGameVideo you can only restart it with redsnow again on your computer by going into the dfu mode since redsnow is still a tethered jailbrake yet which means you have to restart your device with your computer everytime you wanna restart it
